Why does my shirt have a vinegar smell/marks/stains?
When unpacking a new shirt or hoodie with a direct-to-garment (DTG) print, you might notice a vinegar-like smell or an off-white or slightly brown residue. Don't worry, that's not unusual - it's from a fixation agent, which supports the chemistry of the ink to form strong bonds with the fabric, applied during the printing process and it's not permanent.
A fixation agent (sometimes known as pre-treatment) is used for all DTG prints across the industry. It helps the ink bond with the fabric, and without it, the ink would flake off the garment.
The solution is simply to wash the garment! Neither the residue nor the smell is permanent and both should go away after one wash. It is recommended to wash DTG printed garments inside out at 30ºC or cooler.
Why does my shirt have extended garment threads and seam ends?
Sometimes during production extended seam ends might remain on the garment. These don’t impact the structural integrity of the garment and can easily be clipped off.
Why did my shirts come in in different colors?
Color disparities can arise. As a result, the final appearance of the print may be influenced by a multitude of distinct factors such as different printers, color profiles, settings, and processes. We want to be transparent and ensure your satisfaction, which is why we cannot promise absolute color precision of 100%.

What's the difference between Ready-to-Hang Framed Posters and Framed Posters?
The difference is in the way (mounted together or not) the posters arrive to your customers.
- Framed Poster: posters, passepartouts, and frames come as two items packaged separately within one package. Your customers need to assemble it.
- Ready-to-Hang: posters are placed within frames and passepartouts. Your customers can hang it directly on the wall when receiving it.
Do frames come with a hanging kit?
Yes, our frames come with a hanging kit that allows mounting them horizontally and vertically, depending on the orientation of your poster.
There is a hook pre-attached (for the larger sizes (60x80cm above and inclusive), and there should be 3 sawtooth mechanisms on the back, for the 3 smallest sizes the back of the frames has a mounting kit and an easel/stand) to the back panel of the frame which can be used to mount the frame on a wall.
Please note that screws or nails are not included in the hanging kit.
How do I mount a poster into the frame?
Currently, we do ship posters and frames together but unmounted. Below are some instructions to mount a poster into the frame.
Steps to remove the back of a picture frame:
- Remove the packaging from the frame and locate the small metal tabs on the back of the frame
- Bend the tabs through 90º
- Once all the tabs have been lifted out of the way, the rear of the frame can be removed and the picture inserted into the frame. Replace the back of the frame and bend the tabs back down to hold the frame in position
